Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of entrepreneurial orientation and personality traits of the startup employee on person-environment fit, as well as the implications for work engagement moderated by job satisfaction. This research was
conducted using quantitative methods. The population in this research is Gojek Indonesia employees, with a total sample of 331 people. Data collection techniques were carried out by distributing questionnaires. The questionnaire was distributed using a simple random sampling technique. The analysis stages were testing
research instruments, then descriptive analysis of research data, and verification analysis using structural equation modeling. The research results show that entrepreneurial orientation and personality traits of the startup employee influence person-environment fit, both partially and simultaneously. Entrepreneurial
orientation and personality traits of the startup employee influence work engagement, both partially and simultaneously. Entrepreneurial orientation influences work engagement mediated by person-environment fit. Personality traits of the startup employee influence work engagement mediated by person environment. Job satisfaction does not moderate the influence of person environment fit on work engagement. Through this research model, increasing work engagement can be achieved primarily through the personality traits of the startup, entrepreneurial orientation, and person-environment fit.
