Abstract
The advancement of digital technology has significantly transformed procurement systems, particularly through the implementation of e-procurement platforms aimed at enhancing
efficiency, transparency, and operational effectiveness. Despite the potential benefits, user acceptance remains a challenge, especially concerning perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and perceived trust. This study aims to examine the influence of these three factors, including the effect of perceived ease of use on perceived usefulness, on procurement performance in the context of PT XYZ's e-procurement system. This quantitative study
employed the Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) approach.
Data were collected using purposive sampling from 83 active users of the e-procurement system at PT XYZ. The findings reveal that perceived ease of use significantly affects perceived usefulness. Furthermore, all three variables—perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and perceived trust—positively and significantly influence procurement performance. Among them, perceived trust emerged as the most dominant factor in enhancing system effectiveness. These results provide valuable insights for organizations aiming to improve e-procurement adoption by strengthening system usability, perceived benefits, and user trust. The study also offers practical recommendations for developing
more effective digital procurement strategies in business-to-business (B2B) environments.
