Abstract

The merger and acquisition (M&A) process with a foreign company brings about changes within the organization, such as alterations in structure and processes. This research aims to examine the impact of workplace factors, including organizational commitment, organizational culture, organizational support, and individual factors such as job satisfaction, work engagement, and affective commitment, on employees' readiness to face changes. Data for this study were collected using probability sampling. The research involved 156 participants at the central office of PT Tbk. The results indicate that organizational culture, organizational commitment, job satisfaction, work engagement, and individual commitment
(affective commitment) significantly influence the readiness for organizational changes (p = 0.00). However, organizational support does not have a significant impact on the readiness for organizational changes (p = 0.053). Organizational culture emerges as the most influential factor in readiness for organizational
changes
