Abstract

The suboptimal integration between the user interface and user experience of using digital technology applications can reduce customer satisfaction and loyalty. Improvements in both aspects are considered important because good interface design and user experience can increase user satisfaction and retention, which ultimately supports the success of digital businesses. This study aims to examine efforts to improve the design of user interfaces and user experiences in increasing user satisfaction and loyalty of digital technology applications in the E-Tekno digital workshop. Data sources were obtained from users of the E-Tekno digital
workshop application. This data was collected from E-Tekno application users and ten respondents and the development team in East Jakarta. Methods to analyze the data were by applying card sorting, empathy mapping, journey mapping, and usability testing methods. The results of the study show that a more intuitive and simpler user interface, combined with a more interactive and personalized user experience, can significantly increase customer satisfaction and loyalty to E-Tekno applications. These suggest users feel more comfortable and are more likely to use applications with well-designed interfaces.
