Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of Kaizen 5S (Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu, Shitsuke) and Kaizen PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Action) and explain the obstacles faced and how they affect employee performance at the BCA head office. The type of research used in this research is qualitative research by collecting information through interviews and observational data. The technique used in data collection is purposive sampling. To test the validity of the data using triangulate. The results of the discussion of this study are that the application of Kaizen 5S culture and Kaizen PDCA has been and is still running consistently. Constraints faced include differences in employee enthusiasm for responding to Kaizen culture and presentation of PDCA project ideas that can be repeated between different teams. The application of the Kaizen work culture improves the quality of employees' work which indirectly has an impact on performance.
